| David Turnbaugh (American, b 1937), circa 1960, signed LR. Craftfully detailed, Arab and Clown according to David Turnbaugh, is a West Baltimore scene, one of his earlier works painted in 1960. This painting is in a 3 1/2" early wormed chestnut frame with a 3/4" gold, and linen liner. It is also somewhat rare due to the fact that David has concentrated the majority of his career focusing mainly on marine paintings of waterfowl, sailing vessels and commercial skip jacks on the Chesapeake Bay. |
